Dr. Shobhana Patted, a renowned clinician and leader, founded Patteds Fertility and Research Centre (PFRC) in 2011 and serves as the medical director and chief consultant at the center. Following her undergraduate training at Bangalore Medical College, Dr. Patted completed her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Belagavi. She then proceeded to complete a fellowship in Perinatology at the University of Illinois-Chicago, USA.

She is a visiting professor and Ph.D. guide in Obstetrics and Gynecology at KAHER’s JN Medical College. Dr. Patted is also a fellow of the Indian College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She directs the reproductive medicine fellowship program at Patteds Fertility and Research Centre.

She has several national and international publications including the endorsement of oral MP for the prevention of postpartum haemorrhage - a drug included in the WHO List of Essential Medicines and the United Nations Life Saving Commodities for Women and Children.

Dr. Patted has served as the President of two of Karnataka's leading women’s health organizations - Karnataka Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology Association (KSOGA) and Karnataka Chapter of Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction. She is currently the executive committee member of the PCOS Society and honorary secretary of Fertility Preservation Society of India.
